Samidori is a single origin cultivar used for Matcha Ceremonies. Its hue is a distinctive deep green color, lighter than Okumidori. It is our most intense matcha with a well rounded, full bodied, and powerful flavor. Restorative, centering, and well suited for an almost meditative drinking experience, it is for those seeking a more stimulating and memorable Matcha experience. Samidori's flavor profile is dynamic, stirring, and exotic. It’s sharp notes however are surprisingly rounded off. It emanates notes of dark bitter chocolate, salt, orange blossom, and complex herbal flavors. It is well suited for those seeking a more impactful matcha experience. Samidori can also be used to make a statement sprinkled on sweets and cakes similar to how cacao powder is used in confectionary.
